Common but not normal. Do you occasionally leak urine? Or have difficulty holding in wind? Is the sanitary pad industry distorting our "normal" image?

I have been doing yoga for years, swim regularly and do the necessary strengthening exercises... But pregnancy and certainly childbirth have had a huge impact on my pelvic floor.

A difficult birth can cause problems. We are used to talking about leakage of urine, but how about speaking about loss of stool? That is still a big taboo. A very moving testimony about serious pelvic floor problems postnatally.

Dirty toilet seats, just-in-case peeing, going quickly before leaving, pipistop exercise or pushing to pee? Not at all... I'd rather not!
